My dad just bought me a 535i yesterday for my first car+birthday present (June 28th) but i still cannot pick it up yet until July 4th because the monk said so. I'm still surprise that he bought the expensive one for my first car. He is the best dad I've ever seen. I was too happy yesterday that i cannot sleep at all 555+. anyway, one question for u guys.. can the idrive screen read thai? if not, i gotta change all the song name to Karaoke thai..

Anyways, to answer you question, the iDrive does NOT read Thai. Even the ones in Thailand, doesn't read Thai. It'll only show up as boxes or blanks, I can't recall. Congrats again!!
Hello ka everyone,
I have had my 520d since Sep 2008. Although I had to replace the airbag sensor after I got the car for only 2 weeks, the overall experience has been enjoyable, especially the excellent fuel consumption. I am glad that I decided to go with BMW (my previous cars are all mercs)...what a fun ride!
[I wish there were more leg rooms though - especially the back seats...my bro always complains about this].
Ben (BMW newbie)
