To begin with, the Mac Mini cost $1,049..... excluding installation...... so that's how I know.....

Anyway, Audi charges about $400 for installing the iPod connector (not Aux in).... so PML maybe about $500..... so still cheaper..... I guess

I wonder how much they are selling it in Europe and States. Those prices will be a good reference. The kit comes with iPod connector and with a new CCC software. I suspect that the software + labour charges will be much more than S$1K.

Actually, if you look at it, the Mac Mini might provide more utility for the trouble and cost over the iPod installation..... got video and music.... amongst other things....

update on my ice.

still cant solve the zzzzzzzzz noise.they say they changed the wiring etc. took out the amps and placed it outside the car for testing...no noise. put it back in got noise.

now the amp is in my spare tyre well and the noise is still there.

he says the audition amp is too good hence it absorb or pick up the interferences. suggested to me to change to another amp and see if valid. i dont know how many times i have had my car stripped.gave up on that idea. it seems like an endless mod.

my concern now is will placing the amp in the spare tyre well reduce life span of amp..its dam hot in there and the amp is scorching.theres no ventilation!
