RSLK,

i think BZSAB is talking about the Korean one - saw it on their website but didn't know what the heck it's for
Is it the Do Seong one? Do you have the URL pls?

How much you paid for your X-Type? Is it the 2.5V6?

Seems that the Merc retains value more than the Beemers..

well, in singapore, it has always been like this, MB retains value more than BM. On top of that, MB is easier to sell in the resale market.

PML just called up saying that they will be having a launch of the 2006 Z4 at One Fullerton on 19th and 20th July.... unfortunately I will be in NY that week and would not be able to attend... the 2.5 litre is going at $200K... asking him to send me the equipment list...

Don't they know they already lost 2 Z4 customers to the SLK???

The service light is out, another 1k to go for me. Dennis said if the car ok no need to send leh. I am not sure if the manual gives details on the checklist, but he pointed the following:

Diagnosis brief test
Horn, lights and lighting system
Seat belts
Windscreen washer/wiper
Body corrosion
Tyres
Battery
Steering fluid and steering components
Coolant
Brake lines and connection
Underbody check (all visible parts)
Test drive

The above are under Vehicle Check on page 2 of BMW Requirements-based Service.

Wow! The antenna is quite big and are cables exposed on rear windscreen? If so, it will be damn tempting for our local itchy hands
