So so sorry to hear that. I always think that the lock could have been accidentally unlocked when the remote key gets "pressed" accidentally inside the pocket. It happened a couple of times when my kid sat on my lap and the boot lid pops up in the garage!

I'm not buying myself because I'm not comfortable that the original BMW screen is still analog. This means we'll loose some resolution and display of fine text will not be sharp. I'm still trying to find a way to replace the screen with a wide screen true VGA screen. But again, I may change my mind after I see an actual display during Ed's house warming!
BTW, anyone know what does the iDrive controller do?
Let's start a video interface group buy list:

Guys,
I couldn't wait... for the Garmin Nuvi 360.... and went to Elecom at Sin Ming to get the Tibo at $999+GST and $58 of Booster Antenna. Also went to J4C to have the wiring done... i.e. using the ignition power rather than the cigarette lighter charger. ($80)....
It has TTS (Text to Speech), but the pronunciation is the angmoh type... but we should still be able to make it out.... The maps are ok, but seem not too updated (my condo has TOPed for 2.5 years) yet it was not found on the map.... it has limited HDB blocks (in ranges e.g. Block 731-746) rather than individual...
Will let everyone after more testing wih the unit...

LMK...Seriously, planning to get the GPS you guys have been raving about. Seems like a pretty fun toy to have! I am not too much of a tech freak and dont need the bluetooth feature. Do you think the Nuvi 300 will suffice for me?
i prefer to have B/T is more for my overseas travelling when i rent a car. It allows me to have hands free function while having Gps functions. More so when i am in a foreign place and have to focus in speaking through the phone.
