eggz...so wat is the price to install bluetooth in m'sia?
if i'm not wrong, all s'pore e60s come with option 640 "car telephone preparation". i think u still need to buy a kit n get it installed. price estimate is abt $2k, including labour. n it only supports certain mobile phone models...

guys...i collected my car after 4 days to fix the non-retracting steering...all ok now..also i spoke to robert friend...the service head. they r still learning about the car themselves...n electronics on modern cars especially the e60 are not simple. trial n error on top of known tech manuals r the order of the day. the retracting side mirrors by key NEEDS to be loaded thru software. Its not stated in their manuals, but all they do is reprogram your car and it should work.

Ok cheers...if i get more info i will share...meanwhile headdown to pml n check out the red 3s coupes lying around wif full body kits....they look good.

Also can someone tell me why were there so many beemers at the botanic gdns on fri nite?

My steering wheel has also stopped retracting but I am leaving it for the time being until I send in my car for servicing.

I've had the issue with the steering wheel once or twice. The function came back to life after simply adjusting the steering wheel back to its position, or just a slight but up and down. Probably just some minor bug.

totoseow...........does this mean a software upgrade is needed to get the mirrors to retract by key? or is it just some function on the car they need to adjust?

Wow...4days. You can tolerate that. For those that have steering problem...try press few times your widows retract button on the driver's door. After I pressed that, it works again. Something is wrong....
