wow! so many happenings after 2 weeks of travelling.

Ed kudos to you on your new ant, hope you like it!

Stranger, i replied yr pm.

Yankee, do not cut wires in your macmini, instead order the by pass wire from mp3car, just have the apple shop to install for you.
you also need the power supply from them. cost about 100 usd.

i need to do catch up with my work now....will upddate more on front row once done by this week.

Thanks pal, especially the RGB part; otherwise it would have been big money ...

Called up the CSA to ask them to put my automatic mirror folding option back, and was told they need to upload the program again.

I would have thought it's just a bit setting thing. Is this program written by hardware engineer?

it is not a setting "thing" it is part of the program of Windows CE.
sometimes the mech did not option it during programming, thus lost of some features.

LMK,
Thanks. I had ordered the power supply and the cable for macmini. They had arrived but some how the cable is not there, the cable is more for the power cable switch that tap out the switch to the power supply. Would check on the web again.

I had been running it with the scenerio of putting it in the car except for the power supply module. The macmini is THE THING for E60. It can be an entertainment center for E60. Good quality DVD. It has iTune.
The only negative is the DVD player is coded and you have the select the code and you can change this code up to five times only. Anyway, I select only code 1 which most DVD are coded to.
By the way, is your virtualPc software OK. Might need to install to test GPS.

I am thinking of changing my Goodyear Eagle F1 GD3 tyres on my style 124 18 inch rim. Any recommendation from any one? Someone recommended the Michellin Pilot Preceda and told me it is a very quiet tyre. I am looking for a silent tyre. Thanks.
I have been using the Michellin Pilot Preceda for about 6 months now. Its quiet and the tyre compound is still quite soft. No problems with braking, its quite grippy, but then again I drive quite slowly. Haven't had any cause to complain so far.

Pls don't apologise. You've done me such a big favour bringing it all the way from USA. I've really not had a chance to rev the engine much yet. There is no noticable change in engine growl at normal driving speeds of up to 100Km but the car seems to rev a little more freely. Will try some high speed runs later on and see if there's any marked improvement.
