Granted, the M-tech bumper has a flat surface whereas mine has a slight cut before the flat edge.? However, the end of the trunk is still within the inside edge so its okay with me.

so what key slot position for the boot lock you opted?

Well, its not all got to do with Russo although I must admit he's got some really hardworking workers with him. You've got to really love your ride. You've also gotta have a supporting cast lined up; people like Chin Wah, Long and Lye.

BTW, I'm getting someone to bring in the K&N drop in air filter for me from the USA. Can't find the part here in SIN.

Next thing I'll do is to maybe fit in the TV module and that will be it.

This will remain the family car; as comfortable as possible.

Very tempted to trade in the E46 for the E90, but not now. PML seems keen on dropping the price of only the 320 and not the 325 or 330. Most probably opt for the 325 because its Marcus who'll be driving it 99% of the time.

BTW, I just collected my "cross dresser" from Ah Long.? Couple of pictures below.

I really gots to bring mine to Russo.....

Toto and I were thinking about in-car videos during the track sessions, but decided there was no point, we'll just get a whole lot of shakey grey images?

Sure thing eggz, just let me know when you are comfortable to bring it down. Think toto also thinking of coming too right?

Run a check with Bugaboo. He's already got it fitted. Take a look at his pictures at the BMW.SG website.

I personally think it will not help. I will be happy if the dripping water (after car wash) stops.

OK...Saw bugaboo's post.. yeap he still has decent length between the lid and the edge of the bumper. Just called PML.. 15% off offer still on. $310 include GST?
Is Ah Long's work better than Mike SWC?

bugabooooo... where are yoooo? how is the dust before and after?

hi zag. sorry. just came back from holiday.
there is still dust on the bumper. especially if it rained, or the road is wet, that part will be dusty/dirty i noticed.

What is a "cross-dresser"? How come I can't see any difference?

The flat surface of the M-tech bumper is the cause. The normal E60 bumper is flat for only about 2 cm and then there is a slight slope tapering downwards. Maybe that is the reason why those w/out the M-tech are not as badly hit by dust, etc.

Don't think so! The M-tech bumper has an upward diffuser (bowl like shape if you noticed) i suspect that the air flow is more streamline and converges towards the tail as compare the original bumper, therefore the "vacuum effect" is stronger than the original design. The actual M5 bumper also has the diffuser in between the quad exhaust pipes. The boot lid finisher could well meant to cut down the vacuum or back pressure effect. OK any aeronautical/ fluid dynamic engineer here!??

I illustrate the air flow effect that may explain the difference...
