E60 for Singaporeans

Good news for E60 folks in Singapore. I just spoke with someone at BMW Asia regarding Bluetooth. Here's the deal:
All E60s in Singapore SHOULD come standard with the option SA640 (universal mobile phone preparation). This is stipulated to PML by BMW Asia. With this option, your E60 will be able to retro-fit the bluetooth module and snap-on adaptors when they become available from PML. (Once IDA approval has been granted)
Now, the person said MOST E60s in Sinagpore have the 640 option, she didn't say all. Not sure why, so folks, if you're like me, dying to have bluetooth in your E60, go check now with your friendly neighbourhood BMW dealer if your E60 has this option installed if not make a lot of noise

Singaporeans never say die! Although we have no natural resources, including drinking water in Singapore, we still survive and is surviving very well. It is because of the kiasu and kiasi genes that we have in us. It makes us very attune to danger and take measures to avoid it.
So far, my E60 has not problem. Have driven it for 3 months now and clocked 2700 km.
Funny thing is that I do not feel the active steering any more. When I first drove the car switching from my previous E39, the steering felt very light.

you seldom drive your car izzit? I took delivery of my car later than you...now already 4500!
Hey...mine got problem leh. Yesterday, petrol run low. So I went into station to pump lor. After that...turn out of station...car v jerky for awhile. Like no petrol leh. Second problem is the boot. Sometimes the key cannot open the boot...sometime can. Intermittent. Next is the window sensor. Anti- duno what to prevent from clamping your hand...the warning light came off...after "reboot" the car ok liao. Like microsoft huh.
I advise for those who take delivery soon...check your doors if they are fixed properly. My friend and I both driver side door didn't fix properly leh. Protruding out. Also check if you have dead pixel on the screen. Turn the display off and make sure you see only black screen. If there is something else on the screen...scream..
