I have some interior shot taken at night. It really looks different from actual auburn color. Probably due to the flash. I will take some more photos tomorrow in the day. It will look better. I find auburn not bad...but it should go with black car...I saw one black e60 with auburn...awesome

I am going to take some photos later....in the day and actual auburn looks better. Not many people can accept his color...but my old parents like it. Reddish is auspicious to them-Chinese lah.

Hi 530i, agree with you Sg520i's auburn seats look great. I have seen a black E60 with auburn and in my view, black goes well with auburn. About the used E60 discount, I think it is not worth it. The savings is about S$10K but you do not get active steering and you are not getting a new car. I am wondering whether the buyer will be registered as a second owner. If so, may affect resale value later on. If one is already paying S$189K for the used car, why not pay another S$10k more to get a brand new one?

no..they will be 1st time owners...cars will be registerd in name of owner...pml then borrows it to ferry delegates.

i was hoping u guys can point out that the disc given is off the listed price! meaning u actually save only 5-6k at best.

I think if one can afford a e60 in Singapore, I don't think 10K is very attractive. Unless it is about 30-50K range...then it is a damn good deal

530i, I thought your car is still in the oven? Why not call PML to change the color you want? You are a vip customer (with the purchase of full options)to them, they will accede to your requirement. I saw quite a few auburn with black exterior...it looks better. It is two tone, the contrast is great. It looks sporty. However, resale is a concern. Anyway, black n black is nice...at night you will look like a batman...remember to wear your mask.

Also, for those with Auburn, do you have the poplar trim? There was some concern about the two clashing, but I don't see that as a problem as the poplar is really wood (brown) colored, so it's not like two different redish shades. At least as far as I can tell. That's one of the things I'm looking for in interier pictures, as well as personal opinions. Thanks for the feedback, though.

Hi Woodstock, titanium door trim goes better with auburn interior due to the greater contrast. Otherwise, the whole cabin looks too reddish, especially with poplar trim for the dashboard panel too. By the way, the poplar wood looks dark and rich under normal light but under bright sunlight, it looks cheap and faded.

Hi Sg520i, good point about black and black - makes 530i looks like batman. But Batman's E60 got another option not available in other E60s, i.e. rocket boosters for flying.
