Hi,

I have looked until I am going blind. Someone out there has had to have tried this. I have a 08 E60 535i with the 18" sport wheels. I am wanting to find out if anyone has ever tried the M3 wheels from a E46 or E90? The E46 wheels are the style 67 19". The E90 wheels are the Style 225. Both are similar in design with the machined 10 double spokes and both are 19 X 8.5 fronts and 19 X 9.5 rears. If anyone knows anything about this I certainly would appreciate it.

Most likely will work with spacers. I have non-M E90 Iforged wheels on 545i but have 15mm spacers on the front and 20mm on the back and plan to change the fronts to 20mm to make the stance better. The original spec on the Iforged were 32/38(F/R). There is no rubbing.

no M3 wheels but they have about the same specs if not the same

of course if you want them to look good you will need spacers

other wise your set up will look like a sunken piece of shit

...honestly if you want the new M3 wheel look i would go with the M5 wheel and do what many have done

have the face machined and the sides of the spokes painted a graphite shade of grey

like...






that way it fits correctly

I really like the way they look on the red 5. Are those after market wheels, if so what brand? The only place I could think of that might machine the wheels is maybe a company that reconditions wheels. I am a Journeyman Machinist and it would take a CNC set-up that was made to machine wheels like that to do it. One other thing I can think of is the offset on the front of the M5. Those fenders are ballooned out considerably more that a 535i. Unless he is running spacers that I could leave out, I don't think they would work.

not aftermarket, they are oem M5 wheels

and yes a reconditioning shop would most likely have to machine the front of the wheels to make them like those

yes the front fenders are bigger allowing for the bigger tire in front... the front tires is the only part you wouldnt be able to use on your non-M car

you would have to replace with 255/30 or something comparable, other then that all 4 wheels will fit perfectly

it will work... i and many other non-M cars have used M5 wheels on their cars without replacing the fenders

I have use M5 wheels on my non-M E39 but it didn't have the ballooned flare that the new M5s have. Problem is with using those wheels, by the time I buy the wheels and have them reconditioned to look like that I would have a fortune in the wheels. I have to say that they are outstanding in more ways than one. Is that your car?

Bad Debt, that is what I was originally shooting for. They look SO much better than the 335 wheels. Since yours are the replica wheels, what is the offset on them? I am wondering if it is different than the factory M3 wheels? Most of the M3 replica wheels I have found have a different offset. Some are not even 8.5 in the front and 9.5 in the rear.

I love both sets of wheels, the ones on the red M5 and the ones on Bad Debt's 545. I appreciate the information and I would gladly use either wheel. I need to get some of either as soon as possible.

Bad Debt

The M3 wheels I have are the low offset that are stock for E60 and they are 8.5 and 9.5 . I got them from Umnitza, I want to say they were around $800 shipped for the set. We have gotten so many compliments on these wheels it's unreal, I thought I was doing good putting C63 wheels on my CLK500, but I don't get half the compliments I get on the Beamer.

The other nice thing is the inside spokes of the rim are gunmetal and don't show brake dust while the outside is sort of polished so they almost always look clean without to much Bling.
