Do your DVD+RW discs play songs that are later added using multi session?
Could my dvd burning software be the culprit? The software I use is Sonic.
Which software do you guys use?

multi-session does not work, period. No matter what the type of disc. The only reason DVD-RW was suggested was the fact that you can reuse the disc.
So the process to add more songs would have to be.
1. Copy all songs from DVD-RW to your PC.
2. Add more songs to the folder structure on your PC.
3. Format your DVD-RW
4. Rewrite the new folder structure back to the DVD-RW as a single closed session

I use the in-dash nav dvd player for my music. I burnt around 1.5gb of the 4.7gb DVD+R disc at first, all the songs showed up.
Now when I try and add new files to one of the folders or create a new folder/playlist it does not show up on the iDrive. Although the disc has been burnt properly as it's readable on my laptop and the newly added songs play perfectly.
How can i resolve this problem? I'm tired of burning new cds every time and find it easier to add songs to the dvd as and when needed.
