Ok, that sounds like it makes sense.? But I'm still wondering why they would install the short plate at all.? So far, all the pics from other Euro deliveries that I've seen had the long plates for both front and rear and when the customers dropped off their cars, they just unscrewed one of the plates to take home.

I think they may have decided to try out the square(ish) plates on the front because when they install the long plates on the US plate holder it sticks out in the air on the sides. So in order for it not to catch on anything they bend it down on the sides (see picture of my car below). It looks bad with the sides bent down as well as the bottom portion of the US plate holder being visible from underneith. As Speedracer said they wanted to use the square plate on the front. They probably thought it may look and fit better because it would cover the entire US plate holder and not extend beyond it so much on the sides. Personally I think the square plate on the front would look even worse than the bent plate on my car. They should just mount the long plate on the front bumper without the US plate holder for the best fit and look.

[/quote]Ah, ok. I agree Rody, they should just mount the front long plate w/o the US holder. The mounting of the US plate holder could be done once the car arrives in the states.
Congratulations to both you and SpeedracerF4i on your beautiful E60s!

Tell ya something you won't believe.? ? Homeboy (Ice) is the slowest mofo I've ever met? ? From my observation as a passenger in his car. He was driving in the truck lane for the most part?

You know... When I have passengers I never drive fast. But you could have said something and you would've experienced a thrilling ride...
Anyways... Safety first...
Oh, BTW... You didn't mentioned I got lost... Or maybe you didn't noticed... And now guess how I drive when going fast and talking to my passengers...

Thanks for all your compliments, and congrats to Rody too. You're lucky for have missed some of the rainiest days in Munich.
I am a SoCal kind of guy so I am not used to rainiy days That's why I was extra cautious and focus when I drive in rain, hence the serious face
In regards to the shininess of the car, I was very surprised too. I thinks its because the car was only freshly out of paint shop or something. It really it's shinny. Hope it can last though.
