Just filled my 525 for the first time. I drove the car 352 (total) miles and pumped in 15.3 gal of fuel. The math says I got ~23 mpg but the OBC said I averaged 28.3 mpg. Somethings not right. I will check again next time.

I believe the OBC calculates your consumption over the previous 30 kms at any given moment. Therefore there is likely to be a very natural discrepancy between the computer calculated consumption, and that of your own, based on the ammount of fuel last filled.

Both numbers are probably very correct.
