This is a "Me Too" thread about picking my ED car. Please don't let the pic of myself detract from your attention. Slowly look away from my hideous look :'(

P.S. The SMG is much better than I had hoped for. Although it did refuse to shift to Reverse once, but I restarted and it was fine again.

I did gain 4-5 pounds while in Germany. It's probably from all those sausages, port knukles and especially Beeeeeers galore.

It rained and snowed during my stay, so I did not fully take my car to 4,000 rpm capacity.

My Auburn interior looks much better in person. Like Rody said, it's not that orange.

I also visited Merceded Sindelfigen plant and BMW's Dingolfing plant (5'er lovers' Mecca). The trip was well worth it and hope the wait for the redelivery is not going to be bad.

SppedracerF4i:
Congrats, your car looks great. I agree the auburn interior looks very nice with the black - good job. Dude, the food is way too much - you need to leave more room for brews. Your car looks great, enjoy.

This is mean!
I am from Bavaria, have lived in the US for over 10 years now, but still - looking at the picture of the food, I could start to cry...

Nice car...but we all know that!

Thanks for the compliments.

Those germans really drive fast, even with lesser cars. I did tried to stay on the right lane most of the times, but when they want to pass you, they really mean it. I got flashed by a Suzuki Verona while doing 95 mph!!!

It's easier now with the speed limiters; everybody does 155mph.
(except for iceman )

Tell ya something you won't believe. Homeboy (Ice) is the slowest mofo I've ever met From my observation as a passenger in his car. He was driving in the truck lane for the most part

Ok, really stupid question here....why does the rear license plate look different than Rody's? The rear trunk panel impression is not different between the two cars, right?

Not sure of the reason but I do know that you have an option of the wide plate and the tall plate. As you can see the tall plates are Huge compared to the standard US. Not sure why they did that. They usualy mount the wide plates.
