I remember when you posted the hood problem in RF and Lomag responded with a similar experience. Kudos to both of you because of your experiences, I never got the hood warning. The very first time I peeked at the engine and closed the hood, I realized that it was not firm enough and did it again.
And, BTW, welcome.

kscarrol, I should have used a smilie or something on my earlier post. I thought that the "Wild!" comment would clue you in that I was kidding around. My apologies -- I never intended my remark to be construed as smart-ass -- I was just having some fun. I hope you realize that I truly never meant my post to be anything but playful and I certainly wasn't trying to have fun at your expense. Please know that I'm truly sorry for posting the way I did.
As for me not ever welcoming you here from RF, would you accept one from me now? Welcome! Thanks for dropping by!! (It's interesting to note that you actually registered here before me by a few days.)
I do have to ask you what you mean by your quote that "once again Rudy proves that he never makes a mistake". I'm not sure what I did or said to you (or anyone for that matter) to cause this opinion of me. Again, if I did something to cause that attitude, I'm sorry. I just don't know where that's coming from. I always try to be respectful with my posts here so if that's not the case, I'd like to know about it.
Peace my friend, I'm not looking to start any problems -- just thankful that we all can share our love for our cars through this forum.

kscarrol, having a bad day or something? iirc, you joined here before Rudy. Also I don't think he has taken up the post of official "greeter" or anything like that

Yes, I do owe Rudy an apology. Was having a bad day, between crying kids and painters who don't give a cr@p about the work they're doing in my house. And the "never makes a mistake" remark was just me lashing out, no real basis for the comment. Again my aplogies to Rudy.

Hey no worries. Can't speak for Rudy, but we all have nightmare days. It just shows we have quality members that are big enough to hold their hands up and say they had a stinker

It's all cool with me kscarrol!
Thanks for helping to clear things up. To be honest, I really had a hard time trying to figure out what I might have done to cause such a reaction. I even went back and read a bunch of my posts to see if I was missing something, etc.
I have a five-year-old and a 16 month old over here and I'm sure the tone of my posts are directly related to how much craziness I'm experiencing at any given time too.
browellm is right about the members here -- imagine how this whole scenario would have played out over on RF!!
Take care my friend, now go keep an eye on that painter!!
