But I totally agree with you that I also bought the 550 not because what other people thinks about it but its just an awesome car.

Yes, the 5-Series gets a lot of stares. Even after a few years out. If you have the right color and wheels, the car can look amazing. Unfortunately, the 3-series looks too much like the 5-series. That being said, a credit to those that designed the 3-series. This is the first post with my avatar pic. I am getting #166 replicas in the next week.Best,

I've had three MB owners tell me how much they like my car and ask if I like it etc. They go on to tell me that next time around they are going to drive one and possibly get one. THAT is satisfaction.
I even have a friend that drools over it and laments his A6 purchase, and seeing the two parked next to each other, you'd know why.
I also tend to get challenged at lights quite a bit. The latest an Audi, and I don't have to tell you what happened.
