My Ride: F11 520d white, auto, professional sat-nav with internet, variable damper control, sports steering wheel, extended lighting, retractable tow bar, wing mirrors with dimming & folding, full electric seats with memory & lumber adjustment, etc.
At the end of the day its just a car. If you like it, it makes you feel good and the wife is happy, just buy it dont give a fig what others think

At red lights, my car gets moderate amounts of stares from both men and women, aged roughly 25-35. The ppl who stare tend to look like "hipsters".

I came home early from our holiday yesterday in my wife's mini cooper (as she needs the 5 er to bring home the kids and shoppping 
later in the week) and was having a load of fun at 80 mph until a 5er flashed by. It looked good, sounded good and boy did I miss mine. YES they do grab attention

Here in Germany, an E60 is definitely no head-turner, M package, 550 engine with badge, 20" wheels or whatever is on it. Like an MB E-class or Audi A6, it?s just a very normal car you can see hundreds of in daily traffic. And that?s just what I like about the car. It has more power than everybody thinks.
When ats77 thinks, that people were looking at his car at the Nurburgring, then probably because he was getting in the way of all the Ferraris and Lamborghinis driving around there when the weather is good.
If I wanted attention driving around in a car, I either sit next to my wife in her Mini Cooper S JCWorks, both of them drawing lots of attention
or would go and buy this

Nice Freund but , I did not said they looked at me, us only on the Ring going nicely. 
also when we parked with Hobi Whenever even I go to Germany if they are no fn snobs they show thumbs up. German situ is different, here we have a lot of E60s, ask Steve he popped in yesterday. What I mentioned is only IMO E60 grabs attention no matter what Ruf and AMGs
