Definitely interested in hearing your driving habits. I have a 545i and get 19~20mpg. 60 highway/40 local. I don't drive like a granny but I don't smash the car either...if anything just a few spirited runs once in awhile.

Sorry to hear your regrets but sounds like the V8 is something you should put into consideration next. If you're interested in a 545i...

I can beat a 550i with a jb3 map 5 no contest.

As much problems as my 545 caused me in the last year of our lives together, I still love that car very very VERY much...The only feeling close to a regret it driving her too much, cause thats the only reason why i traded her in

Yes. It feels like ive just gone through a BAD divorce with the love of my life.

If you were satisfied with the Z28 then I don't see what you're doing in a beemer. The Z28 may look cool in a boyracer kind of way but apart from both the cars having 4 wheels, I think we're in completely different demographics here.

I've had an 04 MDX with all the gadgets and gizmos, same with an 03 Range HSE, now this wicked 07 525xi, big change for me in a lot of aspects like power and peace of mind, but I gotta tell ya guys, I never love such a ride so much and seeing the dudes on here with the same if not much more love and enthusiasm, can't really regret anything, like family...

I had a E46 previously and it was overall a better car as far as build quality goes and overall feeling. The quality goes down with every model at BMW. Just look at F series. Touch the handles. Open the door. Then open the tray on center console. SQEAKy from the factory! Plastic cheap feeling on some parts

no regrets

i knew exactly what i was buying when i got the 530i so the speed, luxury, a feel r exactly what they should be for a large sedan with an I6

if u wanted more raw power than obviously u messed up on choosing anything from BMW

u maybe happier with the new mustangs or other american cars

but i for one enjoy my car everyday...

Me neither! No regrets!

You should do some performance modifications!

Maybe even a remap of ECU?

I was slowly getting bored of my E60 530i until I did all my modifications, especially the Velocity Booster changed my car completely! Now I can beat E60 540i! (Never raced a 535i because they don't see 'em here in Australia and I have never raced 550i before ^^;
