Yeah, glad to hear that it seems like there wasn't any damage, either.
I am going to Munich next week to pick up my car. I hope it won't take 11 weeks to get back here afterwards. I know that the wait will kill me...

Thanks. I'll post pix when it dries out a bit here. I drove it into work today and it is so much MORE car than my '98 528, I almost just kept going. The Steptronic is a great transmission. It is really smooth/smart and was picking the right gear almost all the time. I almost got SMG, but it just didn't seem to fit my driving style and the car. So far, no regrets.

I just got a call from BMW ED and they are going to do the right thing about my ED re-delivery delay. I am really impressed by the way they have handled this after the fact. I finally found someone who would listen and help. I was also told that enroute tracking improvements are in the works. I still don't know what the cause was, but they are being very fair at this point. So much so that I wouldn't hesitate to recommend ED to anyone and I will probably do it again myself.
