Thanks to a post I found here, I have banished the door creaks that have plagued me since buying my 545i recently. A thorough cleaning of the seal areas on the doors and on the mating portions of the door jambs with isopropyl alcohol worked wonders.

Thanks to all who make his forum such an excellent source of information. It really adds to the satisfaction of driving these great cars.

Wow. I have had my 530i for 8 months and I just started getting a loud creak in my driver door and I can't figure it out. I'm going to try that!
