I keep getting the "sliding/tilt sunroof anti-trap function" warning every time I start my car. What does this mean?
Also my right side mirror won't telescope down when I go in to reverse. Any thoughts..

Thanks..

Next to the power mirror positioning buttons there is a switch that toggles which mirror you are controlling. Leave this switch set to the right (passenger side) and you should see the mirror telescope down when shifting in reverse.

No offence but the switch in question should be set to the drivers side(left) for the passenger side mirror to work. Totally counter intuitive to what it should be. At least thats the way it is on my 535i.

None taken - I figured the switch was in the wrong position. Thanks for correcting

Likewise on my 535xi. I also feel that pushing the gear lever forward to downshift is counterintuitive, but maybe that's just me.
