BMW should've released the New V8 for the 2004 E60!

But yeah i know it had to be introduced to the facelifted E65 first.

 

After owning BMW for more than a year, here is my conclusion:

1. BMW look and name are classy
2. BMW interior is super cheap
3. Driving dynamic is very good
4. Bugs all over the place
5. Dashboard squeaks when cold

Like jimbo said, E60 could by my wrong choice, but we'll see.

 

15 months and 38,000 miles in... pass airbag light goes on and off, brakes squeak since 9000 miles, door seals need carbaflow every service visit, horn broken- sounds like a hyundai, cup holder broken, RDS does not save, and transmission jerks downshifting from 4th to 3rd. Other than that, I am pretty satisfied overall. Also test drove 545 when I picked up my car and I now need to add to my list "bigger engine". I am wondering if I should wait until 550 or is that a rumor? Either way I need the V8!

 

1. Bluetooth or lack thereof.
2. Cracked windshield (SA says a teeny tiny rock hit it and that caused it to crack like cheap glass)
3. Crappy stereo (for a $53K car)
4. No IPOD support
5. No MP3 Support
6. Crappy dealer service/support (I felt like I was at my old Honda dealership when I took my car in for service)

 

Owned for 3 months here...this is what I've come up with:

1) 530 is gutless on the highway. Around town 1st and 2nd is decent. Yesterday I was going ~130kmh, dropped it into 3rd, floored it to pass a car.... ended up staying behind him
2) Lack of storage space
3) somebody mentioned earlier - no anthracite headliner

 

Hummm well depends what car... What car were you trying to pass? a Corvett?
