Sure but why go flame someone when it's not even necessary? He started this thread to provide some feedback of his experience with his car, why did you guys feel the need to comment negatively on his priorities?
I didn't flame him and I don't think my comments were negative.
I express my opinions, positively, although at an opposite position.

Much respect to you for a very calm and mature reply after such a negative post. Very classy.

I would never buy a $60k car without buying a house first, especially in Bay area during this housing bubble burst time.

Cars are depreciating assets and houses are appreciating assets or at least inflation hedge candidate over long term, especially in Bay area.

We all love cars but if one spends money wisely, one can truely own a dream car sooner.
Well said.

Your priorities seem perfectly in order to me. Sacraficing a little in the short term to put yourself in a position to get far more in the long term is a mature and wise course of action.

Much respect.

A dysfunctional family, maybe, but hey... Enjoyed your writeup. Good luck with your new house and your search for the right car

Glad you finally sold your car, although I wish I had gotten in at that price :-). Just curious did you sell it to a forum member?
