I had Goodyear runflats on the car from new then changed to Bridgestone potenza run flsts.
On the SE spec the ride seems fine with runflats, however I have noticed a significant increase in road noise from about 50% worn - sounds like a wheel bearing has gone.
i was wondering if I changed to non-runflat if the tyres would be quieter when more than 50% worn.
Thanks,
Tim

The stiff side walls and compounds of RF's contribute to the noise. My non RF winter tires are quieter. Winter tires are normally noiser than summer tires. Eventually I'm changing to Michelin PS2 non RF. I'm debating changing to 19" wheels so I'll suffer with the RF's another summer.
