Ditch the runflats as soon as possible. I've had both the Dunlops and Bridgestone's on my car and when I switched to Michelin PS2's it was a huge improvement in ride and noise. Handling was somewhat different, but not necessarily worse. The runflats sidewalls are so stiff, it makes the car somewhat twicthy (fast turn-in). The slightly softer PS2's were noticeably less twitchy, and some drivers would consider that a negative, but it doesn't bother me at all.

My Ride: Current - MY2008 530i comfort access, active steering, HUD, prof nav/TV, bluetootth etc .....
Old - 2006 530i comfort access, active steering, HUD, NAV/TV, Bluetooth
Don't change!!!! Get away from the Dunflops though. I now have contis and the problems I thought were the runflats were in fact the Dunflops.
If you like driving keep the run flats,
BUT, if you are a yank and think the suspension should float over bumps, then maybe the non run flats are for you.
BTW - on Monday last I drove the soon to be released 750i and played with the suspension settings. The result? With 21inch run flats the suspension modes varied from float over bumps to fairly hard stuff compliant cornering. Maybe this technology will trickle down to the f10.

Non runflats are far superior to runflats. You'll save at least 5 lb/tire. Numbflats have no road feel. Runflats = FAIL.
On the SE spec the ride seems fine with runflats, however I have noticed a significant increase in road noise from about 50% worn - sounds like a wheel bearing has gone.
i was wondering if I changed to non-runflat if the tyres would be quieter when more than 50% worn.
Thanks,
Tim

Hate run flats, at least the ones that came on my car. Car tramlined horribly, felt unsafe on highways. The car is fantastic with Michelin Pilots and my lighter BBS wheels also help. I am probably down 7-9 lbs a wheel between the wheels and tires. Completely changed the car.
