Hello, needing some help here. I have a 2005 E60 that came with a double disk CCC with logic 7 and idrive. The CCC has died and I was going to replace it but it is a very expensive part. I was wondering if I could downgrade to a single disk m-ask. I dont need bluetooth or navi anyway, but I want to make sure I can still use the screen in the car and control seat heat settings, AC settings, and reset tire sensors, etc. I am going fully aftermarket on the stereo in this car so the logic 7 is of no use to me anyway. Please let me know if I will be able to downgrade and still have some settings. thanks.

 

Find a replacement on ebay otherwise you're just losing too much and letting go a lot of the resale value.

 

Im ok with that since the aftermarket stereo is already being installed, but I just want to make sure the M-ASK will work in place of the CCC to have my regular settings and chimes work.

 

how much are you willing to spend on a CCC? i have a few laying around. i can ship via dhl.

There is a guy on Los Angeles craig's list who is selling a supposedly brand new CCC for $300 - I'm surprised it hasn't been snatched up by now.
