Yeah I absolutely love these cars to bits, but I'll keep on working on it and making it much better. It's done around 220,000 km. My dream car is the E60 M5.

I’m just clueless as to why I got that fault in drive message?! I’ve never had it and couldn’t be good news. Would anyone know the cause of that fault in drive? I know there’s a similar warning related to transmission…

BMW said that my ECU has been modified (piggybacked). And my car hasn’t ever been updated with the firmware they install for emissions, efficiency etc. they said if they were to cram it with new files and everything it could fry it. Cause my car does have that clunk after you start the car. I was surprised that my ECU had been physically tinkered with.
