Sorry for not getting back toy you guys, motherboard is fried
, will be getting a new one next week hopefully. I was haflway through installing DIS v44 as well, damn it!

I can only try DIS v44 at the moment beacuase you need at least 80gb of free space for SSS Progman and this laptop has a 40gb HD, if it works im going to invest in a bigger HD
.
This will be done using a DIAGHEAD emulator and the OBD2 port, I think it will work with the OPPS fibre optic multi-plexor but they cost around £400 - 600 on ebay, It can be done from any laptop or the IBM T30.

Sorry to hear all your troubles. I have DIS 57 and SSS 32 running for well over a year on Sony Vaio via USB. I can supply this to anyone who asks...you can use your own laptop or I'll do it on their laptop for an extra fee.
