Had my car in the shop today for the recall work. Replacement of vacuum pump was not required, and the visit cost me $0. I am still under warranty.

My car goes in for the recall in 2 weeks and my vaccuum pump is definitely leaking out of the front of it. Do you have a link to this DIY? I tried searching, but couldnt find anything besides what was stated earlier in this thread (remove cover and RTV).
Has anyone had the pump replaced under the recall?

I had my car in for the recall service last week on Thursday. $0 cost. They also did a brake fluid flush 3 months early per CBS. I was surprised.

My car is in the shop for the recall until tommorow. I asked for an M3 loaner but they didn't have any. Hey I had to ask at least! LOL! Driving a 328i until it's ready.

Mine was ready the same day. No vacuum pump issue, so no additional cost.
