AWD Malfunctionn !!

I had the same error with the AWD pop up when I started to back out of the garage about 2 weeks ago. It went away in a minute or two and has not returned.

I didn't read thru to the bottom of this post but this previously happened on my '07 530xi. It was an intermittent failure of the Steering Angel Sensor. Replaced and recoded the car. All is fine.

Thanks, but the signs went away by them selves after driving around for 30 minuts
That doesn't mean the problem has been resolved. Mine disappeared after a short drive too, but the problem was stored in memory.
