Yeah, that happened to my car after I did the ECU remap on the car, but that was because of the ECU Remap. The remap was programmed against a 530i and not the xi. The car was totally fine and it would eventually go off (AWD, DSC and Start-Off). Since you haven't done an ECU remap, it sounds like your car is either screwed or the software just has a glitch. Sucks. I would take it in.

 

It happened to mine to couple of times too and mine bone stock ... especially when after I dis/re-connect the battery, all will be good after the started rolling a bit.

 

I called up BMW and they said just ignore and for a while and if it keeps coming up then i should bring it in.
Just wondering iff I drive it will the car slip more because the dsc and awd are not working properly..its raining out here

Okayy, so my DTC button is not working. The dealer said its okay to drive. Does this mean that it will have a better chance of slipping when I drive it tomorw in the rain? The orange triangle is not going away that indicates the dtc is off. All I want to do is turn it back on because I need it for the weekend and probably wont be seeing the dealer until next week.

 

Hmmm w/ your dash lit up like X-mas tree like that I think your car now in safe mode...

Try to disconnect the ground/negative (black) battery cable & wait for a bit long and put it back see if its any better... GL!

 

You should get the PES Remap for your car.
