My Ride: Amethest Grey 530i--AC Schnitzer Kit all the way around--Quad Magna Flow Exhaust--20" MMR wheel 4.5 inch lip--

I found someone who had autologic but I think I need progman to activate an ipod interface.

There are a ton of threads on this concerning fitting an ipod, use the search facility. You need to get the dealer activate your ipod interface, depending on the year of the car and idrive software version they may need to update the software to activate this. AFAIK only the dealer can activate this for you.

hi mate, anybody with autologic can activate and enable i-pod for you, i have it done with autologic, its just a way of interfacing with your car and autologic can do that compleatly.

What if your Idrive software is too old for the ipod, mine is Nov 2004 i think. Should the kit just need activating then rather than a software update?
