Has anyone installed the Infinity Basslink sub-woofer? I am curious about the feasibilty of such a project and the end results experienced. My vehicle has the stock system and I am constantly frustrated by the lack of bottom end sound. I have read there is an installation kit designed for the 3-series that involves only a small invasive procedure, but I can find nothing about our series.

Thanks for the heads up. Did you discover anything else to solve the problem or is it something only our next vehicle can remedy?

Which thread?
my530i if referring to the thread "AUX....." below his ride's description. Altho very informative and interesting it certainly seems to be technically quite complex.

OH........now I get it! But putting speakers under the seats? Sounds like vibrators for the tush!

If you want butt vibrator, crank up the gain and bass level. Otherwise, it sound as sweet as it should be. Remember, BMW acoustic engineer design those two sub underseat to have a better sound distribution. Why didn't they put it under rear panel? Sub underseat distributes the sound more evenly compared to the one in the back.
