Another newbie to 5series and E60s

Hello all, not new to BMWs..I was basically raised in the backseat of a 1970 BMW Bavaria, and my first car at 16 was the family hammy-down 1984 733i, but I finally purchased my first BMW, a CPO 535 M-sport last week. After putting some miles on, next in order was to find a forum, and my search landed me here. Im excited to join and expect many unproductive hours at work reading through E60 posts.
I do have one question that I would love input on. My 5 came with the 18x8 style 135s with run flats. I asked the dealer how often or if I even should rotate these types of tires. The response was "you can if you want"..I know on my Dads 650i they say not to rotate, specifically because of the off-set front to rear. Can any of yall provide advice as to how often to rotate and pattern..or not at all. Thanks!
