Yes aircon is standard on all 530d's. However on the pre-LCI models (i.e. cars before around March 2007) the Advanced air conditioning was an option (Dual zone climate and extra features on the idrive - See the 535d or M5 to see the advanced air con panel). The LCI 530d's (March 2007 onwards) have the advanced air con as standard. Hope that helps.

I can't even imagine AC not being in the car! But then again I live on an island with the Tropic of Cancer going right thru the middle!
I do remember our old VW Beetle not having AC mainly to offer that car at a very cheap selling point..... but that's like 20 years ago at least!!!

My Ride: Week 17 Build, 2008 E60 535d M Sport - Titanium Silver, Black Dakota Leather, Visibility Package, Media Package, Automatic gearbox, Steering Wheel Heating, M Double Spoke 172 19" Mixed Wheels, Auto-Dim+Exterior Mirror, Comfort seats, Front Seat Heating, Aluminium Pentan interior trim,DAB Tuner, TV Function, BMW Individual Audio System 825W !!
All have some sort of climate control, either basic or advanced dual control. Both of these keep the cabin to a set temperature. The use of the air conditioning function, helps to regulate this, ranging down to a temperature of approximatly 17 degrees.
