AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR 06 525xi
Hey,
Ive currently just fixed my 06 525xi that was involved in a accident. Engine light is on and when i scanned it, it gave me a code saying that AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR wasn't working. So i guess i need a new sensor. But my question is where is this sensor located ( pictures would be great
) on the 06 5 series and can this sensor actually cause a engine light?
Thanks,

Look at the arrow in the picture below. It's visible from outside when you look in to the bumper cover. It must've been either damaged/disconnected during the accident/repair. Look for hanging connector, buy a new sensor, plug it in.
