Whats happening Bimmer fans i finally picked up my dream machine last week (06 530I) and Love it! I got a good deal on it it has 42000km and in mint condition with premium pack, Navi pack, Nasca lether. So the question i have for you guys its how does the 6 disc changer in the glove box work?? i tried putting the cds face up and down and when i click on disc 1,2,3,4,5,6 in the iDrive systeme nothing happens...is there another way to make it work or i have to do something please let me know asap its driving me krazzy thx.

The CD Changer will not play MP3s - so if you're using CDs you have burned yourself they have to be the originals or copies burned - but NOT as mp3s. Since you are seeing the CDs cycle thru on iDrive it should be fine. Try to put in an original CD and see if that fixes the problem. BTW - you can play MP3s in the cd slot on the dash IF your car is so equipped and IF you want to play MP3s there (your cal is an '06) you should be able to w/o coding.
