My Ride: 2004 545i - Bone stock... help!
BMW in Dubai doesn't even give you a freaken taxi voucher, which is what Nissan dealer here does. No courtesy van, no loaner, no anything. They even got a parking ticket on my car when I dropped it off there, and didn't tell me about it. When I went to register the car, I was told I had a parking ticket on a date the car was in the shop.
I think I'd jump for joy for getting a Camry as a loaner .

At Wide World BMW in Spring Valley, NY we only have BMW loaners that include 328XI sedans and coupes, a 335XI coupe, several 528XIs and 535XIs, a couple of X3s and, THE most popular, a 335d with BMW Advanced Diesel graphics.

My Porsche dealer only hands out rentals (some others do have Porsche loaners). At the end of the day, it's only for a day or so, so no big deal. I'm OK as long as I get a car. I wish they'd give me a better car, but it's not worth getting too wound up about.
Someone is actually running a poll on this very topic as we speak on one of the Porsche forums I visit - right now, roughly 60% of the respondents are confirming that they get given a rental and not a Porsche.

I guess that is more understandable, Porsche is NOT a fleet vehicle. I agree that it isn't that much of a hassle since it is temporary. It does make you feel more fortunate when you get your car back.
