Does anyone know if the 2004 545i will have a weather band?

Then I wonder why the manual talks about it?
It does have a star next to it like it is an extra but how do you get it?

In the US the National Weather Service broadcasts on several AM frequencies 24/7 weather conditions, warnings and alerts by geographical area. My 528 had a Weather Band and although the 525i manual depicts it, there is none on the Idrive. I suspect that is it is coming in on one of the many, to be anticipated, Idrive software updates. My 525 doesn't have an operational BMW Assit because they "ran out of modules" ; therefore the dealer is giving me two rather than one free years of service, if and when the module comes in.
