I had the exact same problem as you. Random starts and no starts. I understand your frustration!!!! My problem was the IBM module. Basically the main brain for the vehicle was bad. It would not send a fault code either. I would consider that as a factor, not that the other things are not wrong, you could have two problems. Another thought, is to check the signal strength the key is sending out. If you have two keys, you may want to switch out and see if that solves your problem first.
