535i with only 15 miles and a TRANS MALFUNCTION ERROR!!

i have 6,000 miles on my car and it has only broken down once.


funny what we are conditioned to accept!

The same thing happened to my car, after an accident of course though. It was fixed, and on my way driving it home from the dealership the same thing happened. It said Trans Malfunction Reduced Speed to me too, and I was mashing the pedal and barely going 20 mph. MY only explanation is that the cylinders are misfiring. That is what happened to me because my car was shaking, and you could definitely tell. Hopefully this helps, and good luck!
