How many km's on the odo?
My guess would be that the fuelpump is struggling. It's a pretty common error on E60's with a rather high milage.

Jeg har netop lige handlet bilen (privat)og det viste sig at den k?rte p? n?dprogram idet luftmassem?leren var defekt og ikke tilsluttet, men k?rte udem?rket uden problemer..

good glad you solved the problem. how many miles has your car done ? do you still have the swirl flaps in manifold ?

Was this maybe because of deposits from the EGR ??
Please explain for us other users along with other things like miles and swirl flaps
