My Ride: BMW 530D AUT. TOURING, 2005,

I have a big problem with my 530d. It wont drive when the rpm are betwin 1000 and 2000. When the rpm comes to 2000 the devil gets into to the car and it will acc. very fast.
Can enyone help, what is the problem??

VGT vanes always in the open position? is your turbo electric or vacuum operated?

Maybe just because the max torque begins in 2000. Before that the car is a bit lazy. Describe more that "won't drive".

it's absolutly not normal - the car can't barely move before 2000 rpm. From start it'll take 2-3 secord before reach 2000 rpm - i'll say it's dangerous to drive on the road.

Does it take that time (2-3 secs) from idle to 2000rpm even with N gear

you better check that shit out @ the bmw dealer ! that ain't normal... i'm from belgium and also have a 530d, never had that before... I think it's your mass meter , wich has a lot of problems at several bmw's...
