Come on, at least quote the manual/SMG figures for the 530i.

0-60 in 6.4. BMW USA has 6.1 for the manual 330i. It's close. I know that R&T did 5.2 on the 545i, but C&D does speed runs in both directions, averages them and corrects for barometric pressure, etc... In other words, they're not printing their fastest run but what is likely a more credible metric - especially for the purpose of comparisons like we're engaging in right now. Like I said, it's all about who you trust...

RE: Gearing, the 530i has a final drive ratio of 3.23:1 and identical individual gears compared to the 330i with a 3.15:1 final drive ratio. If anything, the 530i should be better than the 330i (as long as the larger fuel tank isn't full).

I agree they're all quick and the 545i is the best - I never said otherwise.
