So let me get this right...

cream beige is a lot lighter than sand beige in fact it's almost white according to some people.
But how does it compare to lemon... is it as light as lemon?

Depends on the digital photo, the white balance and the colour receptors in your eye.

Very interesting info bmw1986

Most interesting I find the models 535xi and T. This engine with 4WD has not yet been available on any other BMW model.

Also missing the M5 Touring, should also be available soon or maybe with the fall facelift as the E63-64!?

About the colors: E70 has, as the new E92 the Space Grey Metallic color.
Could it be the same as "Platium Gray Metallic"?

To those who have seen both lemon and cream beige, which was lighter (according to the colour receptors in your eyes)?

I see your point, however, BMW would have made Space Gray on the 5 if they wanted too. However, my guess is that Space Gray is close to Plantium Gray.

Deep Sea Blue (Similar to Bluewater from the E39 probably).
It seems that Audi has an identically named colour.

Ivory White leather, Rhodium Silver metallic paint... what's in a name?

Heaven forfend, but most paint shops have problems matching ANY kind of silver.

What is the relevance of this statement. Are you claiming that the BMW will use Audi paint?
Are you stating some kind of fact or are you just guessing that the colours will be the same.
Guessing? In this thread? Shurely shome mishtake.

What's in a name? Our eyes will tell us - when it's time.

Here's a picture that I took of an E64 with Creme Beige. I have seen this interior a lot in person at dealerships and because my friend has an E64 with this interior and this picture is a pretty good approximations of the true color. Of coarse, it will look different on other monitors, but at least on my laptop's monitor it's pretty true to life.

I think it's much nicer than the current E60 beige, however, as you can guess (and as my friend with the E64 has found out) it is pretty hard to keep clean. He did get black floor mats as the original mats and the carpeting were also in Creme Beige. The black mats look nicer because they add contrast and match the black sections of the doors, dash and console (as well as not show dirt as much as the Creme Beige). As someone mentioned I hope that BMW uses the two tone setup with black as the second color the way they did with the Auburn. That way it will not only look better but you would only have to worry about keeping the seats and door inserts clean, not the carpets too. Here's the pic.:
