My Ride: I have a 2007 Black Sapphire BMW 530i with SMG. It has the auburn interior, has PDC, Sports Package, Premium Package, rear automatic sunshades with manual side sunshades, 35% black tint, Upgraded angeleyes from Angelibrights, and Logic 7 Sound System
Model Year: 2007
Default

WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW. What a car. After waiting for two months, I finally took delivery of my 2007 530i with SMG. First, the car is beutifully designed. I have black saphiire metallic with sports suspension that makes the car look clean. The interior is absoultly to die for. I have auburn seat and have the premium package, rear sunshades and side sunshades, park distance control and I think thats about it. The black and aubrurn are the best color combo ever and it is sooooo unique. I have recieved over 30 complements today and I just took delivery.

The engine: Well, the 530i is a beast. I mean I am a power freak, but this car is crazy. The SMG makes the driving experience so cool. For those that want to know, this car is a MANUAL and dont think that the auto mode is going to feel like you auto transmission. The gears change just as they do in a normal stick and I love that little jerk you get when the car shifts gears.

One complaint I do have is that the runflats are CRAP. The road noise is horrible if the radio is off. Also, I think the i-drive is complicated, but i havent had a chance to mess around with it so I presume it will take some getting used to. Other than that, this car is a killer and eyestopper. I love this car so much and no am off to take some pics and post them hear later.

Also, if you are looking on getting a new car, rear sunshade and premium package are a must and maybe comfortaccecs??

At first I felt that way too but I'm starting to like it more and more. I will take it over a touch screen any day. I love the tactile feedback and I can navigate some of it without looking after only a month with it (try that with touch screen). The only thing I think is over done is the vent controls and it belongs on the dash with buttons.

Welcome to the group.

Going to try the re-install today. The FM reception is still a problem but I found out that another member has already been in contact with Dave and that CustomAngelEyes.com will have a fix for it soon.

You missed my thread over in the Parts, Accessories and Mods forum. There is a direct correlation between Angelibrights and loss of FM reception.

Them AIBs are a bugger to put in! I'm going to buy some torx screwdrivers today and remove and re-install the AIBs. I'm hoping the re-install will correct the dim inner left ring.
