Beautiful is right - asleep, awake, moving, standing still all the same

Seakat:

My active steering is a bit lighter, after I got 19.01 two weeks ago..

I drove around with no LED's and NO Voice C. a couple of months, but after they loaded 19.01 into the car, the Voice C. got back again - but the bluetooth stopped working!

They just changed my bluetooth device for free, and now everything WORKS!!!! Never touch a runing system!! But still no mp3

Yep, AS is indeed a bit lighter, although not as light as it was with the CIP 11.xx that came loaded when I got delivery.

I'm waiting for a new voice processing module, or something similar.

As for mp3, my hopes are really low. One of the s/w techs at my dealer told me that there is a rumour saying that BMW is considering replacing just one of the 3 main components of the CCC unit, to make mp3 available for builds before 2005/10 at a reasonable price.

Well, we all know the BMW definition for a reasonable price

The problem for my BMW dealer is I got a catalog (from Jan/2004) which says that MP3 will be avalible later.. And my SA told me when I bought the car, that MP3 would be loaded into the car later on, if I bought the Prof. radio... So I'm not paying a single cent....

Yeah, I'm aware of the issue with the first (2003) sales materials that mentioned MP3 functionality.

In your case you do have the right to a free u/g, its cost will probably be supported by your dealer.

I wished my SA was less knowledgeable. Before I closed the deal he explicitly informed me that MP3 was not available, and that some (portuguese) translations of the sales materials existed that incorrectly listed the option as available with pro radio.
