I read somewhere the business satnav ( as I have ) may be different to Professional sat nav when it comes to MP3 functionality. Not 100% sure but this may be the case here?

Mp3 works on pro radio only.
Nav is allways with pro radio.
Currently you can play MP3's with bus nav, what has the radio pro, and on EU spec cars that only have radio pro and no nav. You can't play MP3's with nav pro, you have to wait until the new software will be released in September.
If you have no nav and no radio pro you will not be able to play MP3's.
