My Ride: 2006 BMW 550i
i used to have m5 wheels like my av shows, but i had bad luck with cracking the rims on the inside...like 6 to 7 cracks over two years...i used 10 mm spacers on the rear. i now have the miro111 with no cracks so far.
i've seen the reps before, and they look horrible compared to the oem m5 wheels. no where near as concave.
the 20mm offset sounds like it would work if you decide to go the rep route.

i live in mn too... honestly i would go with a 17 or 18 for a snow tire. with the amount of potholes we get over the winter, the extra sidewall gets cushions the wheels better. i have the factory 172s for the summer, but i got 18 inch m-parallels with blizzak lm-60s. i originally wanted to get 17s but got these 18s at such a good price i couldn't say no.
