Aye I got an 530I no problem, its nice and everything but go with the 08 535.
Got power, nice interior, and warranty covers the HPFP. No worries, warranty is always good.

My '08 535i has 36K miles and I have not had any issue with my HPFP. IMHO...BMW will certainly have the HPFP issue resolved within the next 8 years. So IF it's eventual failure is indeed a "sure thing" , as some suggest...I expect it would defintely happen within that time frame AND the replacement HPFP will have any issues resolved. There are WAY too many of these engines out there for BMW to just "throw up their hands" and hope it goes away. In fact, I have heard, but don't know to be fact, that they have already had several iterations of a newly designed HPFP with much better results...who really knows for sure. This is my take on it...ymmv.

agreed, I have read from e90posts that in fact there is a new PN for the n54 hpfp, implying a new/better design (hopefully)....

A little bit faster, but I would gladly give up 2 cylinders for the LCI upgrades, especially since the 535i's engine can easily be tuned past 360HP.
