just ask yourself a question................... do u like speed if the answer is yes get the 535 becasue that car is a monster i drove the 530 and you cant even compare the 300 horses and the twin turbos really make a big difference

My '08 535i has 36K miles and I have not had any issue with my HPFP. IMHO...BMW will certainly have the HPFP issue resolved within the next 8 years. So IF it's eventual failure is indeed a "sure thing" , as some suggest...I expect it would defintely happen within that time frame AND the replacement HPFP will have any issues resolved. There are WAY too many of these engines out there for BMW to just "throw up their hands" and hope it goes away. In fact, I have heard, but don't know to be fact, that they have already had several iterations of a newly designed HPFP with much better results...who really knows for sure. This is my take on it...ymmv.
